Daily Cat Life — Claws Included, Wisdom Required

Daily Cat Life — Claws Included, Wisdom Required

On Valentine’s Day, people talk about love.
I prefer to talk about relationships — the real kind, the kind with claws.

Because life with a cat is a partnership. Sometimes a very one-sided one.
It’s an ongoing conversation where the one with sharper claws often wins —
and you learn humility faster than expected. Usually around 4 a.m. :D

Hello, I’m Dominika :)

I run a registered home-based Bengal breeding program where science meets everyday life. With formal training in feline behaviour and a genuine love for research, I believe cat care should be both informed and intuitive — guided by knowledge, not trends.

But the truth is, my greatest education happens every single day.

On the couch. On the floor. Sometimes from the top of a cat tree ;)

And through watching how cats communicate, connect, and respond to one another.

My most honest teachers are Lizzy and her mother, Misty.

One observes the world with thoughtful precision.
The other charges into it with full momentum (quite literally).

Through them, theory meets reality — and I witness what authentic feline life truly looks like. No romanticising. No outdated myths. Just instinct, emotion, intelligence, and personality.

Valentine’s Day felt like the perfect moment to finally open the blog that has been living in my heart for years. Because loving a cat is far more than collecting cute photos or saying “how adorable.”

It means understanding their emotional world.
Respecting their instincts.
Accepting responsibility for their wellbeing.
And keeping a sense of humour when someone decides that 4 a.m. is the ideal time for a high-speed apartment marathon.

This blog is built on knowledge — behavioural science, ethical breeding principles, and real-life experience.
But it is also built on honesty.

  • You will find education here.

  • You will find everyday realities.

  • You will find humour.

And at the centre of it all — Lizzy.

A Bengal lady with presence, confidence, and a gaze that feels suspiciously analytical. Her adventures, emotional nuances, relationships, and occasional dramatic interpretations of an “empty” food bowl will shape this story.

If you want to better understand cats, explore responsible breeding from the inside, and step into the world of two highly perceptive feline personalities — welcome.

Because a cat is never just a pet.
It’s a character.
And usually a very strong one. 🐾
